Today's Topic:   Microsoft Word - Drag and Drop Text

In Microsoft Word, you can move your text without using the cut and paste commands. Highlight the text you want to relocate and drag the mouse over the highlighted text until the cursor becomes an arrow. While holding down the left mouse button, drag the words to their new location. A small, gray vertical line will appear indicating where the first letter of the text will begin. When you're satisfied with the position, unclick the mouse button to anchor the text in its new place.

Keep in mind that you cannot drag text past the end of the document; if you want to move text to a position located beyond the last item in the document, you'll have to first create that space by hitting the Enter key.
