Tips & Tricks: Quick Text Select
If you have difficulty selecting (highlighting) text, here is a tip that you will enjoy.
Move the insertion point (flashing vertical line) right before the first word that you want to highlight. Hold down the Shift key with one hand and press the right arrow if you want to select just a few words or the down arrow if you want to select more than one line of text. The text will be highlighted as you press the arrow.
This feature can be combined with some of the insertion point movement shortcuts. For example, if you want to select five words on a line, put the insertion point before the first word, hold down the Shift key and the CTRL key and then press the right arrow 5 times.

Today's Topic: Non-Responsive Computer
Question: What do I do when the computer just freezes up?
Answer: Usually, a non-responsive application is the cause of a frozen computer. You can use Ctrl+Alt+Del to resolve the problem.
Hold down the Ctrl and Alt keys with one hand. Press and release the Delete key with the other and then release the Ctrl and Alt keys. This will open the Task Manager window, which will list all the open programs, including the one that is not responding.
Click to select the program that is not responding and then click the End Task button at the bottom of the window. Unfortunately, you may lose any unsaved work you have done in this program. Save any files that you may have been working on in other programs and then restart the computer.

The Date Time Properties dialog box will be displayed. Click to select the Internet Time tab, and check the Automatically synchronize with an Internet time server box.
Now, when your computer connects to the internet, it will periodically check in with an atomic clock and adjust your clock to the correct time.
