Special Feature: Email Signatures
Question: I have noticed in some emails I receive that the sender has his or her name and some other text that appears exactly the same at the bottom of every email. Is this some kind of automatic thing? Can I do that with mine?
Answer: That is called an email signature. You set it up once, and it will appear at the bottom of every email you send. Signatures can contain text and, in some cases, small graphics such as smileys.
You can set that up a signature in most email programs. Here are the steps for setting one up in Outlook Express:
Open Outlook Express and click Tools on the menu. Click Options. In the Options window that is now on your screen, click the Signatures tab at the top.
In the Signature section of the window, click the New button. In the Edit Signature area of the window, type the text that you want to appear in every email you send.
Once you are done with your text, click the small box next to Add signatures to all outgoing messages. A checkmark will appear indicating that this option is enabled. Click the OK button.
Now, the text you typed will appear at the bottom of every email you send.

Google can tell you the location of an area code. Go to Google and input the area code and the search will results will tell you the location.
If you need the area code for a certain location, Google can help you with that, too. Type in area code for (name of location) and you will get the area code for that location.

Today's Topic: Installing New Fonts in Windows Vista
Question: I had some fancy fonts in my old computer and would like to have the same in my new Vista computer. I found some websites with fonts I like, but I do not know how to proceed after I download them.
Answer: Click Start and open Control Panel. Open Appearance and Personalization and then open Fonts. This will open the Fonts folder. Right click on a blank spot and then click Add Fonts (or Install New Fonts, depending on your version of Vista).
This will open the Add Fonts window. In the Folders section, find the folder that contains the fonts you have downloaded. Hint: if you downloaded the fonts into your Documents folder or onto the Desktop, double click the Users folder, and then double click your user name. You will then see the Documents and Desktop folders.
Click on the folder that contains the fonts. In the List of fonts sections above, you will now see the fonts that you have downloaded. Click to select the font you would like to install. You will see a preview of the font right below the List of fonts window.
When you are ready to install the font, click the Install button to the right. Vista will ask permission to continue; click the Continue button. The font will then be installed. If you have more than one font, select the next font and click the Install button.
When you are finished, click the Close button and close any open Control Panel windows.
The fonts will be installed and ready to use.

Question: Wireless Mouse
I just bought a new wireless mouse and when I don’t use it for a few minutes, it stops working. Eventually it starts up again, but is this normal? If it is broken, I would like to return it while I still can.
Answer: No, it is not broken. Some wireless mice go to sleep when they are not being used. This saves on battery use. If a wireless mouse is always on full power, you would have to change or recharge the battery much more often than you have to with one that sleeps.
To wake the mouse up, either move it around a little bit or press the left mouse button.
